HOUSTON, TX – Allied Orion Group has been selected by the Housing Authority of Birmingham District to manage Collegeville Center, a historic public housing community in Birmingham, Alabama.

Located at 3031 29th Avenue North, Collegeville Center is a 394-unit, multifamily community with a variety of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom garden and townhome floorplans options–a number of which are wheelchair accessible. Amenities include an on-site, multipurpose center that houses a gymnasium, after school programs and a variety of activities for both adults and children. The center also serves as a meeting place for an active resident council.  The community is located within walking distance to beautiful Maclin Park and Bethel Baptist Church, a historic landmark.

“The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District is pleased to partner with Allied Orion Group in managing a part of our portfolio. The company’s extensive knowledge of affordable housing and the complexities of property management make them a natural fit for our agency,” said Michael O. Lundy, President and CEO of the Housing Authority of Birmingham District.  “The primary mission of the housing authority is to provide safe, decent and affordable housing for all of our residents. I am confident that this new partnership will help us to meet and exceed those goals.”
